Serving size: 18 popsicles

Ingredients

  • 3 packages of jello powder (red, yellow, and blue)

  • 6 cups of water (divided into three)

  • 1 cup of sugar (divided into three; optional)

  • Six clear bowls

  • Popsicle molds and sticks

Directions

  1. Empty each package of Jello into its own clear bowl.

  2. Add two cups of water into each bowl and mix well.

  3. Optional (for a sweeter popsicle): Add 1/3 cup of sugar to each bowl and mix again well.

  4. Now it’s time to make new colors! But don’t use up all your red, yellow, and blue—make sure to leave some in each original bowl so you can still make primary color popsicles. In three new bowls, mix equal parts of two different colors to create the secondary color popsicles:

    • Red + Yellow = Orange

    • Yellow + Blue = Green

    • Red + Blue = Purple

  5. Pour all six mixtures (three primary colors and three secondary colors) into your popsicle molds. You can make one of each color or get creative by layering or swirling them together! Once filled, place the molds in the freezer for at least 4–6 hours or until fully frozen.
